Wine Country

Who knew when the 2010 East Coast Holiday was planned that Ohio is one of the top 10 wine producing states in the U.S.? Take the time to stop by and see where more than 850,000 gallons of wine are produced every year. Ohio’s wines are produced from the various grapes such as Vinifera, the type of grape from which Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Riesling wines are made. Here, you can learn more about the grapes and production process as well as get to taste and see for yourself how your favorite wines are made. This experience is sure to cause another one of those “We have to come back to Cleveland next year” comments!

Chagrin Falls

North Eastern Ohio has a very strong New England influence caused in part by the Connecticut groups that settled here in the late 1700s. Aptly called the lands of the “Western Reserve” these Pioneers left their mark in architecture, and culture. Chagrin Falls, which represents this lineage well, will welcome our group on Friday night for a cocktail party and an impromptu “blocking off the streets” car show. Come early visit the many shops, dine and drink on your own, the choices will be great and endless!
